Harishchandragad: The fort is quite ancient, considered to be from the medieval period. The Great sage Changdev (one who wrote the epic Tatvasaar), used to meditate here in 14th century. The caves are also from the same period. Harishchandragad was captured by the Marathas in 1747 from the Moguls.
Nalichi Vaat is a route between the two mountains & it is connected by Rock Patches. It is one the most exciting trek routes that every trekker wants to do.
Konkan Kada: The most interesting point on this fort is this cliff, which has always fascinated many people from many years. The cliff faces west and looks down upon the Konkan with a breathtaking view of the surrounding region and sunset. This cliff is not just vertical; it is an overhang, almost like a cobra's hood.
The itinerary for the Trek is as given below:
> Meeting Point: Swami Narayan Temple nr Dadar station, at 10.00 pm on 24th Jan '15.
> Travel till the base village by our private bus.
> Travel till the base village by our private bus.
> Reach by 2 am. Rest till morning (6.00 am), have tea, and start our trek by 7 am.
> Lunch in the way(Self Carried), reach the top by 4pm approx.
> Here we explore Konkan kada, and head towards the caves for our dinner, Campfire and night stay.
> Next day morning we Start 1800ft Konkan kada Rappelling
> Packed Lunch at the base
> Trek back till Base Village
> Start back towards Kalyan
> Reach Dadar approx by 10 Pm on Saturday.
The charges of the trek will be Rs 4700/per head, which includes

Travel expenditure from Dadar to Dadar.
