Some info about the event:
Place: Kamshet, Lonavala.
Gliding Time: 15 min approx.
Grade: Easy.
Without any training or experience you can enjoy the experience of flying like a pro for 15 minutes and enjoy the breathtaking sites. Let the pilot do the work while you enjoy the ride, savoring the amazing experience of soaring over beautiful hills and fields like an eagle high up in the sky.
Don't forget to bring your cameras to capture this beauty.
The itinerary for the event is as given below:
Meeting Point : Lonavala Stn at 8.15 am.
Move ahead by Jeep/ auto till the event Place.
Paragliding activity.
Lunch at the base.
Travel Back till Lonavala.
Day off by Afternoon
The cost :
The cost for paragliding will be rs 2000/-
plus the cost of the vehicle from lonavala till back and the food charges will be divided among the participants.
(Extra Glide will be allowed for Rs 2000/- per glide, if time permits)
Things To Be carried:
Identity proof (must)
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.(cause we wont get a chance for breakfast.)
A bottle of water (atleast 1.5 Ltrs),
Camera(Optional), Cap, Scarf etc.
Medicines those if u require usually (Optional)
Good trekking shoes,
It is very important to cooperate and obey the instructions of the pilots before, after and during the tandem flight.
No prior experience or training is required
Please refrain from alcohol or drug consumption before the flight.
Caution :
Tandems can be enjoyed by any person from the age 7 onwards. As with other adventure activities, the flight may not be suitable for persons suffering from high BP, heart ailments and back problems. If in doubt, it is always advisable to check with your doctor.
Paragliding is an activity which completely depends on the air conditions at the event place and time. One might have to wait for long for the better conditions to fly. one might not even get a chance to fly on the same day.(in this case Trek Mates wont charge you for the flight, but only for the vehicle and food charges,)
