Some Information regarding the trek:
Along the Ulhas river, from khandala till Karjat is a valley which is named as Ulhas valley after the Ulhas river.The area is full of flora and fauna.
The area is a popular destination for trekkers from Mumbai and Pune, its a different kind because on this trek where you start a trek with a Descend, climb up to end the trek. kind of Opposite of regular treks. There is huge water fall down in the valley....where we will be spending at least 1 hour before starting our back journey.
The schedule for the trek will be as follows:
> Meeting point: Swami Narayan temple, Dadar (e), at 10.00 pm. (more pick ups at Vashi, Nerul, Belapur, Kalamboli)
> Start from Dadar by private bus.
> Reach Lonavala in the midnight, and rest in the bus till morning.
> Breakfast and start our trek by 7.00 am.
> Complete our trek by 3 pm.
> Have refreshment in Lonavala and start our return journey. Reach Mumbai by 8.00 pm.
The charges of the trek will be Rs 400/per head, which includes
Travel expenditure from Dadar to Dadar by Private vehicle,
Breakfast,
Evening Refreshments,
Equipments and Expertise.
Things To Be carried:
Lunch for Saturday,
A bottle of water (Atleast 1 Ltr),
Camera(Optional)
Cap, etc.,
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.
Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)
Good trekking shoes,
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. so that one has ones hands free while trekking. Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
