Murud Beach
Located on the rugged Konkan coastline, Murud is a small town about 11km from Dapoli. A long, scenic stretch of a beach with swaying palms and a beautiful, ancient Durga Devi temple are its primary attractions. It is also known as Murud - Harnai.
Anjarle Kadyawarcha Ganpati
Anjarle is a village in the Dapoli taluka,
Ratnagiri district and is known for the Kadyawarcha Ganpati temple (कड्याचा गणपती) which means Ganapati on a cliff. This temple
was originally constructed using wooden pillars around 1150. It was renovated
between 1768 to 1780. Until the recent construction of bridge across the
Anjarle creek and the building of a road up to the temple, pilgrims had to
cross Anjarle creek (Jog River) in a boat, before climbing the hill using steps
which pass through Anjarle village.
Fishing Village @ Harnai
Harnai port is the main fishing village. Every evening hundreds of fishing boats come back after fishing and gather to auction their catch. The fish auction is the essential trade step between fish landings and the trade. Business worth lakhs of rupees is carried out daily between 4 pm to 7 pm. Witnessing the fish auctions here is a awe inspiring experience and you could also hitch a ride in a bullock cart here!!
Harnai
port should be one of the essential part of any Dapoli vacation not just for
the auctions. You could vist the Kanakdurg fort with a lighthouse offering
splendid views of the ocean Suvarnadurg fort and the fishing village. You can
also visit the historic Suvarnadurg fort from here and enjoy a boat ride too!
Harihareshwar
Surrounded by four holy hills Harihar, Harshinachal, Bramhadri and Pushpadri Harihareshwar is a region in Konkan which is amazingly beautiful with hills playing the perfect foil for long stretch of pristine beach. The Harihareshwar temple built in the 16th century with the deities of Vishnu Brahma and Shiva is the primary attraction in Harihareshwar along with beautiful stretch of beach.

Phansad
Wildlife Sanctuary The Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary is an amazing
revelation. Primarily a bird sanctuary, Phansad is also home to a whole array
of insects, amphibians and mammals. Spread across 52.71 sq. km., Phansad is
located in the Murud and Roha talukas of Raigad District in Maharashtra.
The Janjira Fort Janjira is Marathi corruption of the Arabic word Jazirah, which means an island. The Janjira Fort was built by the rulers of the Ahmed Nagar under the patronage of emperor Malik Amber in the 15th century AD. The fort is build in the sea 2 km inside of Murud. This is one of the vital sea-forts in Maharashtra. It has strong walls 40 ft high and standing intact even after being battered by the sea waves from all four sides. the fort was never conquered by any enemy for over 350 years. Shivaji, Sambhaji and the Peshwas tried to take over the fort. But the Marathas, British or Portuguese could never capture Janjira.
Kashid Beach The famous Kashid beach is located 18 kms from Murud. The specialty of this beach is the beautiful silvery white sand. It's a favourite spot for advertising, TV serial and film shoots. The beach is complete with small food-stalls. If you are travelling from Alibag to Murud, the last U-turn in the Ghat section of the road that descends on the Kashid beach is simply mesmerizing'!

Meeting Point : McD at kalamboli (the one situated just before the starting of the expressway.) at 6.30am
For Pune People : 8.00am at wadkal naka via Pen
Start riding by 7.00am , Breakfast at Wadhkal Naka
Reach Murud (Lunch enroute)
Visit Harnai and get some fresh fish for dinner
Check in at some Hotel / villagers home have dinner and sleep.
Ride to Anjarle.

Visit Anjarle Kadyawarcha Ganpati & Anjarle Beach
Further ride to Velas, Visit Beach Lunch
Visit Bankot Fort
Put out bikes in Jungle jetty cross the creek.
Ride to Harihareshwar – Dighi
Again cross the creek by Boats
Reach Murud Janjira.
Dinner at Patil Khanaval.
Ride till phansad.
Stay in the forest (Tented Accomodation)

Wake up at 6 am
Go for bird watching in the forest.
Breakfast.
Ride back to Murud.
Visit Janjira fort
Lunch at Patil Khanawal
Ride to Kashid beach
Enjoy water sports
Back journey
Reach Mumbai by 10 pm.
The Cost for the event:
Trek Mates will pay for the food and accommodation of all the participants which will be equally divided among every member of the trek after the event.
Rs. 400 extra will be added to the same (per person), considered as the administration charges for Trek mates India.
Expected Expenses: 2000-2500 per person (excluding Petrol/ Maintenance)

> In case, of a single rider, the petrol and maintenance charges has to be paid by him alone. (Trek Mates will provide info about a willing participant who can accompany you, and share the expenses. this depends on availability of such willing participants.)
People who don’t have bike or unable to find the pillion rider for them we can hire the bus , depend upon the capacity or

Few rules we would like our participants to follow:
We follow a strict policy of "no trace" trekking, "Take nothing but memories and photographs, leave nothing but footprints".
Do Not Litter: Participants are requested to carry the waste back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.
No Smoking, tobacco and alcohol: Smoking cigarette, chewing tobacco or related products and consuming alcohol is strictly prohibited on the trek. Anyone found in possession of the same or consuming it will be expelled from the trek. NO REFUND will be provided.
(Smoking will only be permitted before the trek starts and after the trek is over with prior consultation of the Leader and the person will have to move away from the group to smoke.)
Respect the Heritage: Participants should not deface or damage any monument by writing or scribbling on them. Please help us to conserve and preserve our heritage along with our trek mates.
Be a group: It is of utmost importance that all participants stick together in the group, in the event of any ‘deviation’ by the participant without the consent of the ‘Trek Leader’, he/she/they will be considered as ‘Independent/s’ and will no longer be considered as a part of the group.
Pay attention: Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.
In case of any injury, sickness, accident, death or any other casualty or loss or damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; Trek Mates India, it’s instructors, organizers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.
Any violation of the above rules will be dealt with seriously, and may involve expulsion from the trek or event, and no refund is admissible in such cases.
Adventure activity is arranged considering normal weather. In case of occurrence of any natural calamities, if event is cancelled, in such circumstances NO REFUND will be provided.
The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
Trek mates India reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice. No arguments or refunds will be entertained.

Important Note: Hatching of turtle eggs is totally a natural process, and depends on the temperature of the nest where it has been from the day the eggs had been laid. We cannot guarantee about the hatching on our tour.
No refund will be given in case the Turtles dont want to come
out in front of you.
