Prabalgad is situated on northeast side of Panvel, on Mumbai-Pune road. One can see it from express highway a V-Shaped one. The Left one is Kalwantin Durg & right side is Prabalgad. It is located on a plateau very close to Matheran. It was known as Muranjan until it was taken over and renamed by the Maratha forces under Shivaji's rule.

The tentative itinerary for the Event is as given below:
Meeting Point: Panvel Station at 7:00 am.
Breakfast at Panvel
After Breakfast move ahead to the Base Village by Private Vehicle.
Introduction, instructions and start the trek @ 9:00 am
Reach the top in @ 01:00 pm.
Lunch break.
Explore the fort and start descending by 2:00 pm.
Reach the base till 5:00 pm.
Start our return journey and Reach Panvel by 6:00 pm

The charges for the trek will be Rs 400/- per head, which includes
