Brief Introduction about Kavnai Fort:
Height: 2500 feet

Kavnai: The main entrance door of the fort still stood in good condition. Entering the main door we can see cave of the right side. We can see small pond towards southern side of fort. There are many dilapidated structures of mansion by the side of this pond. A bastion at western end of the fort. A cistern is located near bastion.
The tentative itinerary for the plan will be as follows:
We will start with the CST - Kasara Fast Local (Time table given below)
People may board the same local from the station of their convenience and meet us in the train directly. (Get into the second boggy from CST side)

We will proceed to the base village by Local Transport (18 KM from Kasara Station)
Reach Base Village by 10.00 am,
Breakfast at base village.
Start the trek by 10.30 am.
Reach the top by 12.30 pm
Reach the top by 12.30 pm
Lunch, Fort exploration and Start descending by 1.30pm.
Reach Base Village by 3pm
Reach back to Kasara by 4.00 pm.
We will be returning to Mumbai by 7pm-8pm tentatively.
