Bears have relatively small eyes & ears so there sense of hearing &
seeing is poor but sense of smell is strong. And it might happen that a bear
might overlook you... but its smelling power will surely hold you.

to Daroji National park and Hampi in Karnataka from 9th to 15th November ’13.
Daroji Bear Sanctuary is a suitable habitat for Indian Sloth Bears
in Karnataka. This forest is home to Leopards, Jackals, Wild Boars, Porcupines,
Pangolin & around 90 different types of Birds. Whereas Hampi is a world
heritage site; where the Empire of Vijayanagar flourished.
The Itinerary for the tour will be as follows:
Day 1: 09th Nov.
Departure by 11021 Tirunaveli Exp. at 09.30 pm from Mumbai CST.
Day 2: 10 Nov.
Reach Hubli station at 12.30 pm. Transfer to Hospet city (165 km).
Evening free.
Day 3: 11 Nov.
After breakfast, tour to Hampi ruins (15 km). This world Heritage
site shows glimpses of Vijayanagar Empire founded in 1336. We visit Ugra
Narasinha, Lotus Mahal, Vitthal Mandir, Virupaksha Mandir.
Day 4: 12 Nov.
After breakfast transfer to Daroji Sanctuary (15 km).
Visit Sanctuary composed of stony hillocks & thorny trees,
suitable habitat for Indian Sloth Bears. According to Forest department there
are around 120 Sloth Bears.
Day 5: 13 Nov.
Early Morning Park round .Along with bears , this jungle is home
to Leopard, Hyenas, Jackal, Wild Boars, Porcupine, Monitor Lizard, Mongoose.
Uncommon residents are star tortoise, pangolin. Around 90 species of Birds have
been recorded here.
Day 6: 14 Nov.
After Breakfast transfer to Hubali. Return train at 3.30 pm.
Day 7: 15 Nov.
Reach Mumbai at 5.30 am.
Tour cost:- INR 22500/- Per Person.
