Hey Mates, we at Trek Mates India invite you all for one of the most awaited Night Trek to Dhak Bahiri Caves on 1st Dec '13, starting on Saturday Night, 30th Nov '13.

Region: Karjat -Lonavala
Difficulty Rating: Medium
Trek to Bahiri caves is famous for its rock climbing section and is considered one of the toughest treks of Maharashtra just because of this rock patch.
But we will try to make it as easy as possible, with appropriate use of ropes, securing safety of each and every participant over the patch.
The Itinerary of the event will be as follows:
Meeting point: Lonavala Station at 11.00 pm on Saturday, 30th Nov.
(For Mumbai ppl Mahalakshmi express suits the timings)
(Pune ppl can come by locals till Lonavala)
Travel by Local jeeps till the base village.
Trek half the way and camp in the jungle. (Open air stay)

1st Dec Early morning start for the patch.
Reach the patch before it gets heated by the sun,
Reach the patch before it gets heated by the sun,
Climb, Explore the cave and get down towards
Lunch and start back journey from Jambhiwali to Lonavala.

Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)
Good trekking shoes,
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. So that one has ones hands free while trekking. Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
The charges of the trek are Rs 800/- per head, which includesBreakfast and Evening Refreshment for sunday,
