Nagzira is a totally hidden tiger paradise in Vidharbha
region of Maharashtra. It is about 3 Hrs drive from Nagpur city and is not less
in any sense than Tadoba Tiger Reserve. It has got almost the same type of
flora-fauna and weather and is one of the most potential locations in India for
tiger sighting. Along with tiger it
shelters major species like Dholes (Wild
dogs), Indian Gaur, Leopards and sloth bears to name a few. There are
very few hotels available at Nagzira and early booking is recommended
to get confirmed rail tickets.
The itinerary for the tour will be as follows:
18th Jan: Leave for Nagpur by Duranto Express, at 8:15 pm from CSTM
18th Jan: Leave for Nagpur by Duranto Express, at 8:15 pm from CSTM
19th Jan: Reach Nagpur by 08:00 am. Travel to Sakoli base, and further to Reach MTDC Resort
by 11:30 am.
Check In and Lunch. After Lunch Leave for 1st Jungle Safari. Evening Back to
Resort. Dinner and then Rest.
20th Jan: Early Morning have tea and Leave for 2nd Jungle Safari. Breakfast, get fresh and have Lunch. After
Lunch Leave for 3rd Jungle Safari. Evening Back to Resort, have dinner. Enjoy Camp fire. Rest.
21st Jan: Early Morning have tea and Leave for 4th Jungle
Safari. Breakfast, get fresh and have Lunch.
Go for a short Bird Watching trail. After Lunch Leave for 5th Jungle Safari. Evening Back to Resort, have dinner. Post
Dinner Experience Sharing Session. Rest.
22nd Jan: Early Morning have tea
and Leave for 6th Jungle Safari. Check Out.
Lunch and Post Lunch Leave For Nagpur. Leave Back for Mumbai by train
23rd Jan: Reach Mumbai
in the morning.
The cost for the
event will be Rs 10,000/- per head
