In the year 1752, the warrior from Peshwa’s camp, Trimbak Suryaji Prabhu wrested the fort and established the Peshwa’s regime there. It was in the year 1818 that British forces led by Mc Dowell wrested the fort and gained upper hand in the region as the forces won a set of 16 other forts in the vicinity.

Trimbakeshwar Temple is perched on the picturesque lusting green Brahmagiri hills near Nasik in Maharashtra. River Godavari originates on this hill and flows though the Brahmagiri ranges.

On 14th December Saturday Night : We will be starting with the CST - Kasara Second Last Slow Local (Time table given below)

Post Introduction , Start Trek to Brahmagiri Top. (Rock cut steps to reach on top of Brahmagiri)
Reach the Top by 5:30 am
Rest for Some time.
Reach the Top by 5:30 am

Breakfast at the Brahmagiri Top
Start Trek to Bhandar Durg by 7.30 am
Reach the Top by 9am
Explore and Start Descending by 10.30 pm
Reach the Top by 9am

Reach Base Village by 1.30 pm
Lunch at the Base Village.

Start our Return Journey by 4pm
