Dear Mates, We at Trek Mates India invite you for a Quickie Trek to “ Sandhan Valley ” on 30th March 2014 (Starting on 29th, Saturday Night).

How about a trek where you do not ascend, a trek where you can stay in the night on the rock-bed near water-pond?

How about making khichdi together with minimal available resources, a fun in a bunch of lovely people?

2km long deep inside valley, 2 rappelling patches,Natural Water Pond at the base and 2 hrs of trek. How about it?

Fabulous! Fantastic! and Adventurous!

Welcome to awesome trek to Sandhan Valley .

Sandhan Valley is situated in the western ghats of Sahyadri. The valley is located on the West side of beautiful Bhandardhara region near Samrad village. The village itself is located approx.  at 3000 fts above sea level. Valley is surrounded by Alang, Malang , Kulang, Kalsubai, Ratangad and Ajoba mountain range.

Grade of the trek  - Medium with 2 rappelling patches.

Time Table -

00:14 am :CST
00:22 am: Byculla
00:32 am: Dadar
00:43 am: Kurla
00:49 am: Ghatkopar
01:05 am: Mulund
01:09 am: Thane
01:31 am: Dombivali
01:40 am: Kalyan
02:55 am: Kasara

It is advised to board the second last compartment of the train from your respective stations so that we can meet in the compartment itself.

Day 1 -

Reach Samrad by Private vehicle from Kasara
Rest
Morning Refreshment at base village
06:30 am – Start trek

Start descend towards Dehne

Lunch Midway

Rappelling sessions enroute
Travel Dehne – Dolkhamb and further to Shahapur by local transport

Reach Asangaon by 7:30 pm

Reach Mumbai by Local train by 10:00 pm approx

The cost for the trek is INR 1200/-

Which includes Transportation from Kasara till Asangaon, 1 Breakfast + Rappelling Charges.

A good pair of Trekking Shoes, extra pair of socks
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried....so that one has his hands free while trekking. Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
