Little info about the Trek:
Type: Hill Fort & Forest
Grade: Easy
Endurance: Medium
Base Village: Kankumbhi, Karnataka

Sada Fort & Caves:
In the ranges of the Western ghats, just 60 kms from Belgaum, this fort having resisted the hard test of time for about three centuries, is in a little ruined condition and speaks of the great Maratha warriors who ruled this remote territory. Physically, Fort Sada is located on the edge of a hill, being surrounded by dense forests at its east and south. To the north & the west are very deep forested valleys of Maharashtra and Goa respectively. This must have added for the security of the fort making it practically impossible, least difficult, for enemies. Still more, thick jungles and breath-taking valleys add to the simply magnificent scenic beauty of the fort.

Another exciting part of Sada is the underground caves which have been formed due to volcanic eruptions some thousands years ago. A visit to fort Sada can be designed to the need of anyone – a petty walker, an athlete or a serious trekker.

Kalsa-Sural Waterfalls
One of the best and all time treks in this region of Kankumbi forests is avoided in heavy rains. In the beginning of the trek we cross the Kalsa Stream, reach the head of the Kalsa Waterfall and after a couple steep descends and ascends reach the base of the waterfall. We need to cross the river again which is now swollen more.

Hopping through the boulders in the river and thus negotiating our way, we reach the head of the 350 feet Sural Waterfall. Here onwards it is a steep ascend before reaching the village Sural in Goa.

Vajrapoha River Trail & Falls
Vajrapoha Falls (also Vajrapoya waterfalls), a waterfall in the Belgaum district of Karnataka in South West India, is situated about in the mountainous forest 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from the village of Jamboti. Between the village of Gavali and Chapoli on an elevated hillock, the Mandovi River that flows to the beautiful Vajrapoha Falls that fall for up to 200 metres (660 ft)[1] and are best seen after the monsoon season.  You need to negotiate a jungle route & river trail through Mandovi River. This is an exciting trail amidst dense forest.
