We at Trek Mates India invites you for Waterfall Rappelling session at Vihigaon near Kasara, on 15th August 2014.

Height: Approx 120 feet

Rappelling (English Name) also known as abseiling (German Name) is a method of a quick and safe descend after a climb. It’s an act of descending a mountain face by sliding down a rope, which is attached to a body harness and fastened to an overhead projection, with sufficient friction provided as to make the speed of descent controllable.
The only difference here is we will be rappelling down through a flowing waterfall, pouring water on us as we come down.
It’s the best exercise to overcome the fear of height. Feel the thrill of suspension at the height of about 100 feet’s. Come experience the incredible feeling of success and accomplishment when you touch the ground.

Meeting point, Mumbai - Swami Narayan Temple, Dadar (e) at 6.00 am
Pick up point, Thane at Nitin Company, Thane at 7.00 am
Travel by private vehicle till the base Village, Vihi.
Breakfast at Vihi.
Information about various equipments used in rappelling.
Rappelling Seesion till 5 pm
Evening refreshments.
Start our return journey by 6pm.
We will be returning to Mumbai by 9.30 pm tentatively.
Things To Be carried:
Identity proof (must)
Lunch For the Day, A bottle of water (atleast 2 Ltrs),
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes
Camera, Cap, etc. (Optional)
Windcheaters,
Medicine those if u require usually
A good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried....so that one has ones hands free while trekking. Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
The charges for the event is Rs 1100/- per head for Mumbai mates which includes
Travelling from Mumbai to Mumbai by private 2 x 2 push back bus,
Breakfast and evening refreshments.

Extra Rappelling will cost Rs 500/- Per Rappell, and will be permitted only after every person has done with his first chance.
