Mates, get ready for an awesome and offbeat experience as we at Trek Mates India organize a special Offbeat tour to Sangla Valley, Himachal Pradesh
from 1st to 09th May 2015.
The
unique offbeat -Sangla Valley starts 57 km short of Kalpa which has been named
after a beautiful & popular village Sangla. Sangla is situated on the right
bank of Baspa river 17 kms from Karcham. Journey from Karcham onwards is
enjoyable and adventurous throughout the valley. The natural scenery all around
and the eternal snow view are picturesque and charming. It is also known as
Baspa Valley since Baspa river flows through this area. This is the most charming
valley in the entire District of Kinnaur.
The Itinerary for the tour
will be as follows:
Day 1: 1st May
Leave
by Train (Paschim Express). Overnight Journey to Chandigarh.
Day 2: 2nd May
Arrive
at Chandigarh. Pick up and Transfer to Shimla. Reach Shimla and Overnight Stay
at Shimla.
Day 3: 3rd May
This
morning after breakfast drive to Kalpa. Enroute visit Recong Peo. This place is
named after the people who used to own it and is also the district headquarters
of Kinnaur. Evening reach Kalpa and overnight stay is at Kalpa.
Day 4: 4th May
Today,
after breakfast, visit Rogi and Chini Village. Enjoy the breathtaking view of
Kinner Kailash from these places. Late afternoon, return to the Hotel and
overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day 5: 5th May
This
morning after breakfast drive to Sangla Valley. Enroute visit Kamroo Fort and
Rakcham village and overnight Stay at Sangla.
Day 6: 6th May
Morning,
after breakfast, drive to Chitkul. This place is located on the banks of Baspa
River and is the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. The Indian
road ends here. During winters, the place mostly remains covered with the snow.
This place is also considered as one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Evening, return to the hotel and overnight stay at Sangla
Day 7: 7th May
This
morning, after breakfast, drive to Rampur. Enroute visit Wangto and Bhimkali
Temple. Evening explore Sarahan and Overnight Stay at Rampur.
Day 8: 8th May
Today,
after breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart to Chandigarh. Reach
Chandigarh and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9: 9th May
After
breakfast, check out from the Hotel and drop at Ambala Station for Return
Journey.
Day 10: 10th May
Back
to Mumbai.
