Sandhan Valley: The Valley of Shadow
is situated in the western ghats of Sahyadris. The valley is located on the west side of beautiful Bhandardhara region near Samrad village. The village itself is located approx. at 3000 fts above sea level. Valley is surrounded by Alang, Madan, Kulang, Kalsubai, Ratangad and Ajoba mountain range.
This amazing place gives you the best of light & shadow experience while walking into it.
Photographers Delight: It is awesome experience to capture fireflies in cameras. You can capture the Fireflies trail using long exposure. Also you can experiment with Multiple Exposure shots to capture multiplied effect of the flies.
The tentative Itinerary for the event will be:
May 30th Saturday:
Start to Kasara by Kasara Local (12:28 pm Slow from CST )
Meeting Point: Kasara at 03:00 pm.
Reach Samrad village by 05:00 pm.
Set-up and keep tents ready for the night stay and get ready to hike into the forest.
Our campsite is located in a picturesque scenic setting showcasing the natural beauty and geological diversity of India. Camping at one of the best locations in Maharashtra, you will be surrounded by total wilderness and a grand view of the Alang, Madan, Kulang and Kalsubai peaks.We can change the tented accommodation to sheded or home stay, in case if it rains.
31st May Sunday:
Morning Explore Sandhan Valley, & get back to the campsite.
Reach back to the base & Lunch.
Post Lunch start our journey back to Kasara
Reach Mumbai by the evening
Cost for the event will be INR 1100/-
