Maharashtra on 15th August 2015, Saturday. (Leaving
on 14th August, Friday Night.)
Come join us and conquer the highest peak of Sahyadris in
Maharashtra : “Kalsubai”

Kalsubai is the highest peak of the Sahyadris in
Maharashtra.
At the summit is a small temple of Kalsubai, which can
seat just three people. This being the highest peak, it commands a beautiful
view. The vastly spread out backwaters of Bhandardara attracts ones
attention from the top. To the north of the mountain range forts such
as Ramsej, Harihargad, Brahmagiri, Anjaneri, Ghargad, Bahula, Tringalwadi,
Kavnai can be seen. To the east one can spot Aundha, Vishramgad,
Bitangad, to the west Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad (south west)
and to the south Pabhargad, Ghanchakkar, Harishchandragad can be seen.
Since Kalsubai is extremely famous, enough effort has been made to make this trek easy. There are steel railings, chains and ladders at places where it is difficult to climb.
The itinerary for the trek will be as follows:

Overnight Journey toward the Bari (Base Village of Kalsubai)
15th August, Saturday
Reach Base Village by 5am
Breakfast by 6 am
Start Trek by 6.30 am
Reach the top of Kalsubai by 10.30-11 am
Rest for some time.
Start Descending by 11.30am
Reach Base Village by 1.30pm
Lunch at the Base Village.
Start our Return Journey by 3.30pm
Reach Mumbai by 9 - 10 pm (Depend on the Traffic)
The cost for the trek will be INR 900/- per head,
