About the Event:

Manori is a village located on Dharavi Bet in northern Mumbai,
India. It is known for its beach and the Manori Creek.
Manori is dominated by the local fishing community - Kolis. Fishing is the major occupation
among the locals. The village is divided into 3 sections i.e. Koliwada, Bhandarwada and Panchghar.
Koliwada being the most populated and congested compared to other sections. The
largest bungalow in the village, "Green Villa", belongs to the
Ferreiras and is also known as "Motha Ghar".
The Itinerary
for the event will be as follows:
Meeting Place: Marve Ferry Point
Meeting Time: 3.15 PM
End Time: 7.00 PM
How to Reach:
The closest railway station is Malad. Members can take BEST bus 272 from Malad
(W) (around 30 minutes) OR an auto to the Marve Ferry Point. We take a ferry to
cross over to Manori Ferry Point.

Photowalk Contest:
Submit your best 2 Photographs to TMI within 5 days of
the event. Selected 10 best pictures will be posted on TMI FB Page &
Instagram. The picture with highest like on each social media will participate
in the next Photowalk for free.*
How to Submit Photos:
1. Go to Trek Mates India Facebook group.

2. If not a member, join the group.
3. There will be an album with the event name. Post your
pictures there with EXIF details and a sentence to describe your click.

which includes Ferry Charges to and fro, evening snacks
