Don’t Miss the fun, as We at Trek Mates India organize a 16 day Motorcycle Riding cum Regular tour to Ladakh. Routing from Chandigarh – Manali – Leh – Kargil - Srinagar from 30th July to 13th August ’15.
A ride of a life, which covers:
1. Manali – one of the most famous Hill stations of India.
2. Pangong Lake – The largest lake of Asia.
3. Khardung la – The Highest Motorable road
4. Lamayuru – the Moon Land
5. Tibetian style monasteries
6. Sonmarg enroute....
7. Five of the top 10 passes of the world.
8. Dal lake – Srinagar’s Jewel
and many more beautiful and exciting places
And we would also have a tempo traveler / Car along with us for people who are not interested in the bike ride.
A brief Explanation of the tour
The manali- Leh road is one of the most exciting and scenic biking trails anywhere across the country, crossing as it does four high passes over the great Himalayas and the parallel Pir Panjal and Zanskar range. The route which any biker would like to visit at least once in his life time. And the beauty which mesmerizes anyone in his first look.

Day 1: 30th July:
Report at Chandigarh
Collect bikes
Stay in Chandigarh.
Stay in Chandigarh.
Day 2: 31st July:
Chandigarh to Manali - 310 Kms
Day 3: 1st August:
Stay in Manali.
(Purposely for bike servicing/Acclimatization)
Day 4: 2nd August:
Manali- Rohtang Pass- Koksar- Tandi- Keylong - 120 km Ride
Day 5: 3rd August:
Keylong- Darcha - sarchu - 180 km Ride
Day 6: 4th August:
Sarchu - Pang Tanglangla- Rumtse- Upashi- Leh- 255 kms Ride
Day 7: 5th August:
Leh to Pangong- 160 Kms Ride
Enroute visit Thiksey Monastry and Shey Palace
Stay in tents at Pangong lake
Day 8: 6th August:
Pangong Lake to Leh - 160 Kms
Also visit Hall of fame army Museum in Leh City
Day 9: 7th August:
Ride from Leh till Nubra via Khardungla Pass - 120 kms
Stay in Tents at Nubra
Day 10: 8th August:
Ride to Khardungla and back: 80 Kms
Also visit Leh Palace and Leh Local Market
Day 11: 9th August:
Leh to Kargil - 220 Kms Ride
Day 12: 10th August:
Kargil - Drass - Jojila end - Sonmarg - Gagangir - srinagar – 210 kms
Day 13: 11th August:
Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens and Local Sightseeing 50-80 kms
Day 14: 12th August:
Bike transfers by Gati Courier.
Day 15: 13th August:
Fly back to Mumbai

The Expenses
The costing for the tour will be
Biker / Pillion: 38000/- per person including Back up Vehicle and Mechanic Charges
Non Biker: 40000/- per person including all transfers
Inclusions:
Ø Accommodation on Triple sharing basis in Hotels / tents
Ø Daily Breakfast and Dinner
Ø Permissions wherever necessary
Ø Transportation by Jeeps (for 4 Non-Bikers)
Ø Back up Vehicle and mechanic services (for bikers)
Ø All Taxes
Exclusions:
Ø Daily Lunch
Ø Any Airfare / Train tickets till Srinagar and after Chandigarh
Ø Bike Transportation / Renting Charges
Ø Fuel and Maintenance (for Bikers)
Ø Any medical / rescue evacuation due to mishaps
Ø Any personal nature items like Bar, Laundry Bills, Table Bills, Camera Fees, Tip and any other items
Ø Mineral water, Soft OR Hard drinks, Starters etc.
Ø Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/ stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.
Ø Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, roadblocks etc (to be borne by the clients directly on the sport.)
