Mates India invite you all for an adventurous Trek to
Dhak Bahiri Caves on 8th Sept starting on Saturday
Night, 7th September.
Some information about the Trek:
Type: Hill Cave
Height: 2300 feet above mean sea level
Base Village: Jambhivali
Region: Karjat: Lonavala
Difficulty Rating: Tough
Trek to Dhak Bahiri caves
is famous for its rock patches and is considered as one of the toughest treks
of Maharashtra. The patches becomes tougher to negotiate in Monsoon but we will
try to make it as easy as possible, with appropriate use of ropes, securing
safety of each and every participant over the patch.

The Itinerary of the event will
be as follows:
Meeting Point: Swami Narayan temple, Dadar East at
11:00pm
Move to
base village by Private Bus
Reach
Village and rest in Bus itself till Morning
Freshen
up & have breakfast & start trek by 07:00am
Reach
to Patch by 09:00am
Reach
cave by 10:30am
Descend
to village 01:00pm
Lunch
& start back journey at 03:00pm
Reach
Mumbai at 08:00pm tentatively
Things To Be carried:
Identity Proof
Water (at least 2 Ltrs)
Torch with extra batteries (compulsory)
Good trekking shoes (A good pair of shoes with proper grip is must. Do not wear shoes with tough sole like woodland)
Extra Pair of clothes and socks

sleeping bag (Though we might not get proper place to sleep)

Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.
Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. So that one has ones hands free while trekking. Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
The charges of the trek are Rs 700/- per head, which includes
Breakfast, lunch & Evening Refreshment for Sunday,
Travel expenditure from Mumbai till Mumbai.
Ropes and Safety gear charges, Expertise.
Camera, Cap, Floaters etc. (Optional)
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.
