about Sangla Valley
The unique offbeat -Sangla
Valley starts 57 km short of Kalpa which has been named after a beautiful
& populour village Sangla. Sangla is situated on the right bank of Baspa
river 17 kms. from Karcham. Journey from Karcham onwards is enjoyable and
adventurous throughout the valley. The natural scenery all around and the
eternal snow view are picturesque and charming. It is also known as Baspa
Valley since Baspa river flows through this area. This is the most charming
valley in the entire District of Kinnaur.
The itinerary
for the event will be as follows:
Day 1: 22nd April: Leave by Bus/Train. Overnight
Journey to Chandigarh.
Day 2: 23rd April: Arrive at Chandigarh. Pick up
and Transfer to Shimla. Reach Shimla and Overnight Stay at Shimla.
Day 3: 24th April: This morning after breakfast
drive to Sangla Valley. Enroute Visit Kamroo Fort. Reach Rakcham and Overnight
Stay at Rakcham.
Day 4: 25th April: Morning, after breakfast, drive
to Chitkul. This place is located on the banks of Baspa River and is the last
inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. The Indian road ends here. During
winters, the place mostly remains covered with the snow. This place is also
considered as one of the most beautiful places on earth. Evening, return to the
hotel and overnight stay at Rakcham.
Day 5: 26th April: This morning, after breakfast
depart to Kalpa. Enroute visit Recong Peo. This place is named after the people
who used to own it and is also the district headquarters of Kinnaur. Evening
reach Kalpa and overnight stay is at Kalpa.
Day 6: 27th April: Today, after breakfast, visit
Rogi and ChiniVillage. Enjoy the breathtaking view of Kinner Kailash from these
places. Late afternoon, return to the Hotel and overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day 7: 28th April: This morning, after breakfast,
drive to Sarahan. Enroute visit Wangto and Bhimkali Temple. Evening Reach
Sarahan and Overnight Stay at Sarahan.
Day 8: 29th April: Today, after breakfast, check
out from the hotel and depart to Chandigarh. Reach Chandigarh and overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 9: 30th April: After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and drop at Ambala
Station / Chandigarh Airport for Return Journey.
Day 10: 01st May: Back to Mumbai. Trip ends with
the rocking moments!!
